StormToStudio is run by me, Jannette—a stroke survivor living with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression, and limited mobility. Life is not easy right now, and every day brings a new challenge. Many basic things others rely on, I currently do without:
- An empty freezer most days
- No working oven to cook meals
- Eating one small meal a day, often just canned vegetables
- No reliable transportation to pick up medications or go to doctor appointments
- Broken eyeglasses that I can’t afford to replace
- No washer or dryer, forcing me to wash clothes by hand in the bathtub
